How to Collect Five-Star Reviews
Your Google review score is one of the most important factors for driving sales. Businesses with high ratings look more trustworthy, which makes people more likely to visit you. Studies show that simply improving your Google rating by one star can increase your revenue by up to 9%. Feedelity helps you proactively gather five-star reviews while managing negative feedback internally to protect your online reputation and improve customer satisfaction.
Feedelity’s Smart Review Collection Process
Feedelity uses a smart feedback loop to encourage positive reviews on Google and capture negative feedback privately. This system ensures that satisfied customers are directed to your public Google page, while those with negative experiences are given a direct, private channel to resolve issues.
How It Works
Scanning the QR Code: A customer scans a unique QR code (or clicks a dedicated URL) displayed at your property or sent digitally.
Initial Sentiment Check: The customer is immediately asked about their experience and chooses between:
Excellent
Okay
Not Good
Positive Feedback Route (Excellent):
The customer is immediately redirected to your property's Google listing feedback page.
They leave their positive review directly on Google.
The review is publicly visible, boosting your online rating.
If you respond, they receive the response on Google.
Negative Feedback Route (Okay or Not Good):
The customer is directed to an internal Feedelity form.
They write their detailed feedback privately and enter their name and email address.

Handling Negative Feedback Effectively
When feedback is kept private, you get a chance to solve the problem directly and restore the relationship with your customer.
View & Reply in Inbox: All negative feedback appears as a new conversation in your Feedelity Inbox. You can read the issue and send your reply immediately from the thread.

Email Notification: When you reply, the customer receives an email notification with a secure link to the conversation.

Continuous Dialogue: The customer can click the link and send further messages back to you. If the customer replies, the case is automatically reopened in your Feedelity Inbox so you can continue the conversation until the issue is fully resolved.

The QR code and unique URL are automatically created and ready to use for each of your locations:
Login as an administrator into Feedelity and go to the Settings page.
Click the QR Code tab.
Here, you can:
Customize the layout of the page that guests see after they scan the QR code
Download QR Code: Save the image to print and display.
Copy Link: Copy the URL to share digitally (like in emails).

Additionally, you can create multiple themes. This allows you to design different templates with unique logos (useful if you manage multiple brands) or adjust elements like the title language for locations in different regions. You can then assign a specific theme to each location using the table below.
You can choose between two types of QR codes:
- Location QR codes take guests directly to the initial sentiment check for that specific location.
- Company QR codes first ask guests to choose a location. The list is sorted by distance, so the closest and most relevant locations appear at the top.
Where and how you display your QR code or URL makes a huge difference in the number of reviews you receive. Follow these best practices:
| Placement Strategy | Best Practices |
| QR Code | Place codes in high-traffic areas: on dining tables, on counters, in rooms, at the reception desk, or on check-out materials. Add a clear call-to-action: “Scan here to share your experience!” or "Give us your feedback" |
| URL | Include the URL in emails, satisfaction surveys, or on digital receipts. This captures feedback after the customer has left the property. |
Pro Tip: Combine both onsite and digital placements to maximize feedback and capture more reviews.

To make sure positive reviews are posted publicly, you must connect your location to Google. If your location is not linked to Google, all feedback (even the "Excellent" reviews) will be kept private in Feedelity.
To let customers with a positive experience post reviews on Google:
Log in as an Admin.
Go to the Integrations (under settings).
Connect your Feedelity location to its Google Business Profile page.
